I'm starting to hear a low-level rubbing noise from the front brakes of my Tesla Model 3, especially when braking lightly. The car has about 48,000 miles on it. Could it be a sign that the brakes need some attention, or is this normal wear and tear?

That’s a total load of crap! When did you buy your car? If it’s still under warranty, file a service request immediately. This is definitely not normal behavior for an EV.

Does it happen while accelerating, braking, turning, and all of that? I am pretty sure something is loose and there and it is moving around without any purpose.

I haven't experienced it. What I would do is check the coolant bottle (you can find it inside the frunk, after you remove the rearmost plastic). The coolant bottle is the one with blue fluid. Check the levels. If it is empty or low, then there might be a leak somewhere. Don't do anything yet...

I don't think you can set the odometer as the default display when you enter. But at least you can remove the media player (just swipe it downward), and it should stay hidden until you want it back.

When you say pricey, like how much is that? I am asking because my wife's car is approaching the 10k mark soon and an idea of what I should expect would be helpful. Thanks!

I just got a new Model 3, but it's making annoying squeaking noises, specifically from the rear doors. I've taken it to the shop twice, but they can't figure it out. Any similar issues?
