Locking the Tesla navigation view

Been fiddling with the navigation view on my screen and noticed the map orientation (North vs. Following Direction) resets after 10 seconds. Kind of annoying if you prefer one view over the other. Anyone found a hidden setting or trick to lock it in place?

Sounds like you're zooming out or rotating the map, but it keeps snapping back after a few seconds? Yeah, that happens. It seems like there's nothing we can do about it.

Yeah, my screen stays on too. I haven't tried resetting the MCU, but you could give that a shot.

I haven't experienced that. Mine stays still unless I give it any other input.

When it comes to orientation, the map "should" remain in place unless you're actively utilizing navigation. The zoom level doesn't stay where I want it to and there is no way to change the default, which irritates me more.

I realize you posted this half a year ago. Have you found the settings?
