I’m new to the Tesla EV. I got a 2023 Model 3 Standard Range. Loving it! Question about charging the LFP battery.

I had a 2020 Tesla, I was told to keep the charge between 20-80% for battery health. But now with the 2023 model, Tesla says it’s fine. or even recommended, to charge to 100% regularly with the LFP battery.

That said, I’ve been seeing advice online saying to stick with the 20-80% range to preserve battery longevity. Now I’m a little confused, what’s the best approach for long-term health and performance? Are there any downsides to charging to 100% frequently with the LFP battery?

This is the first rule someone told me before buying my first EV: never charge it to 100% if you don't plan to go for a long ride...

It might be good to run the battery's health below 70% before the warranty expires. This could potentially allow you to sell the car with a brand-new replacement battery during the final warranty period.
