Has anyone managed to hook up a radar detector to their Model 3? How’d you pull it off? I’m thinking of doing it myself but honestly, I’m not the most tech-savvy. Any tips before I go all DIY on this?

I've heard about this BlendMount which is the brand of choice of most Tesla owners. Will be following this thread as well since I'm looking to install radar detectors.

You’re in for a fun DIY project! The easiest way to hook up a radar detector is to use the 12V connection behind the rearview mirror. Tesla made it pretty convenient, so you don’t have to run wires all over the place. Grab a hardwire kit, and you’re almost there! Take your time with the install, once it’s set up, you’ll feel like a DIY genius. If you’re new to DIY projects, a hardwire kit is a great starting point. Just make sure to test everything before finalizing the installation, especially if you’ve never tapped into 12V power before. And if you’re worried about damaging the trim, you can always practice removing it gently first.
