I'm about to deck out my Model 3 with some staggered aftermarket wheels (8x20 and 8x10), but I'm stuck on lug nuts. Stock is M14x1.5 21mm, but I'm eyeing some 27mm options but considering contacting the wheel manufacturer. Will these 27mm fit alright, especially considering the smaller conical seat surface? I read 27mm is the shank diameter. Worried about safety. Any insight is appreciated!

For me, I would double-check with the wheel manufacturerfirst to make sure those specific wheels will fit my car perfectly. They'll be able to confirm compatibility and answer any questions I might have.

Confirm with the wheel manufacturer first. Tesla’s higher clamping forces and larger 14mm studs can stress wheels not designed for them. Drilling out the lug holes might weaken the clamping area, especially at the conical seat.
