I scratched the chrome trim during window cleaning. Trying to reach that tricky inner ledge, I mimicked the tint shop trick of closing the latch to pop the window up. Nailed the cleaning, then promptly forgot about the window as I went to close the door. Luckily, a quick call to Tesla got the window back down and the door closed. Lesson learned: tint shops, press that door release button before using the child lock to avoid window problems.

Anyone got tips for buffing out minor chrome scratches?

I think Tesla should fix it. It's their fault the window can go up when the door is open. I had the same thing happen. Tesla replaced mine.
