For night visibility, consider a rechargeable emergency light bar. You could build a device to hack the CANbus and flash the lights for a cool, integrated look, but be aware that flashing lights might actually cause confusion and hinder your progress in traffic.

My lighting setup is super simple and straightforward, one light up front and one in the back. Both running off a basic 12v cigarette plug. No fluff, just practical lighting that gets the job done!
