Tesla's Powered Trunk Retrofit vs. EVOffer Kit

So I was thinking about getting a power trunk retrofitted to my 2019 M3. Is the EVOffer Kit better than Tesla's? Anyone here tried 'em?

Hi disaarredgel2k question, do you think it would need a constant supply?

In the past, I ran a wire for my old dashcam from VC left and was planning on using that. The only problem I had was it was a switched supply.

How can I let the car know it's got a new automatic lift gate now? Tesla must've tweaked something after they put on the OEM lift gate. I wonder if there's a way to fix it in service mode
